Service Description

Join me for a 4-week introduction to the LYT Yoga Method®. Developed by a physical therapist, this style is grounded in the principles of physical therapy and neurodevelopmental training to help you find freedom through smarter and safer movement patterns. This is the style of yoga that I teach and personally practice and it has revolutionized the way that I move, not just on my mat, but everywhere I go. Classes in this course are suitable for anybody, especially great for beginners, those returning to yoga after a break, and those new to LYT! Each class will build off of the previous class so you are applying what you learn every week. Classes will be 45 minutes with a 15 minute Q&A after class to discuss any observations and address your movement concerns. As part of the course, you will receive a link to a recording of each week's class so that you can practice it throughout the week. If you cannot make a class live, you have the flexibility to take it on your own time! You are also eligible for a 15-minute posture evaluation with me! This is a great way to get a better understanding of where your body is compensating and how you can improve your posture and movement patterns to feel your best. Finally, you will also receive a LYT® Foundations e-book to keep on hand and refer to. It is a guide to what I think of as the four pillars of LYT - Triple S, neutral pelvis, neutral scapula and the rigid core. This is a handy reference for improving posture and core strength. You will receive an email upon registration for the class with details on how to sign up for the posture evaluation, a link to the e-book for download and tips on how to prepare for the course.
